2018 Goals: Progress Made in June, July Revisit

As always, July is when I revisit my goals, drop the ones that are no longer feasible, add new ones, etc.  With the expenses of the girls, I’ve had to pare down some of the big, expensive goals or drop them all together.  I’ve also added new financial goals that speak more to my current status versus where I was in January.  Suffice to say, lots of changes and comments below, wee!

Financials

  1. Contribute $2,000 to my Roth IRACANCELLED; due to the girls medical expenses, I had to halt contributions so this one is a no go
  2. Mortgage balance under $120,000CANCELLED; after buying the car plus the girls, not enough extra money to throw at the mortgage now
  3. Credit Card paid in fullCANCELLED; with it at $9,000 and likely to hold steady or go a little higher, paying it in full by December just isn’t happening…instead…
  4. Credit card balance below $6,000 – NEW!
  5. Set up Flexible Spending Account for medical expenses – NEW!
  6. Emergency fund back to $1,000 – NEW!
