Goals for April-June, 2026   Recently updated !

I’m way late on updating on the goals and setting the next batch… it’s been a year already, and it’s not even half over!  So let’s see how I did for each pair of goals, then set the next ones!

All of these will be due by June 30th!

Last Quarter’s Goals:

Health

  1. Complete at least 36 exercise sessions of 15+ minutes, using under-desk elliptical, Ring Fit, walking, or other forms of exercise – stream squats do NOT count – failed!  My knee hated me, and I struggled with the friction of having to tether the chair when I want to do it.
  2. Chloe and Smudge to vet for their annual checkups, boosters, etc. – done! Got them done while they were kenneled for our Ohio trip.  Both in great health, though Chloe needs to have a tooth looked at

Career

  1. Complete conversion of at least one web application from Laminas to Symfony and launch – Done two even and working on site number 3 now!  Really enjoying it!
  2. Study up on Title II compliance and apply principles to the converted app to bring it up to standard – Also done and continuing to work to make sure all the updated apps are compliant as well

Financials

  1. By February 15, configure Spark and DoorDash payouts so that at least 90% of net income from those sources automatically goes to a separate account so it can be used for debt repayment, and maintain that setup through March 31. Actually sent all gig money to the debt repayment!

Joy

  1. Play 4 games from my backlog: one each from 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Got through two, one from 2020 (Metro 2033 Redux) and 2023 (The Evil Within), but also set up a schedule of games for the year that include multiple games from the backlog
  2. Read 3 books of any length – can be manga or novel, just read! – Read several volumes of manga that been waiting lovingly for me to return for a few years now!

Streaming

  1. Post 6 videos to YouTube that are not VODs – can be let’s plays, LEGO builds, etc. –
  2. Try one game at a time instead of 3 different games on different nights for the entire quarter And for now, I’ll continue this set up as a more long term experiment, though I still reserve the right to randomly swap a day in a week for a game I got a key for or my mood, but I do finish games faster this way!

  5. Chloe dental appointment and monitor to see if Prozac is helping the issues with her attacking Smudge
